This guide provides information on announcements based on the IV. of 2006 Act on Business Companies and the V. of 2006 Act on Company Publicity, Court Procedure and Liquidation, as well as the 21/2006. (V.18.) IM Decree on certain issues of the company registration procedure and company register.

The gazette is published in ascending order of company registration number within each chapter. This order corresponds, however, to the order in which the courts register the company, including the different company forms. The order of the courts registering the company and, within that, of each form of company in the gazette is as follows:

The communication starts with the company registration number. It is followed by the name of the company.

The arabic numerals and their content in the notice of incorporation, which apply to all forms of company, are as follows:

In the case of a minor member (owner), the communication shall indicate the details of his/her legal representative under the appropriate heading, and in the case of a foreign person registered in the commercial register, if such person does not have his/her domicile or residence in Hungary, the communication shall indicate the details of his/her agent for service of process.

Pursuant to the Companies Act, at the end of the notice of registration of a company or of a change of company, it is always indicated that the documents serving as evidence of the data entered may be inspected at the court of registration of the company, bearing in mind that, as a general rule, the company may only refer to the data or document serving as evidence of the data entered in the register of companies vis-à-vis third parties if the data has been published in the Companies Gazette together with information on the location and inspection of the document serving as evidence of the data.

In the case of public limited companies or limited liability companies, the publication of the instrument of constitution of a public limited company or limited liability company or of an amendment to the instrument of constitution in the Companies Gazette is in the following form: after the list of the instrument, the scanned form of the instrument can be displayed and viewed by clicking on the scanned form of the instrument after the text "scanning number:" in brackets, which appears after the identification number starting with the company registration number.

The communication of changes in the registered data shall begin with the indication of the company registration number and the name, registered office and tax number of the company. Then, under the appropriate heading, the changed (deleted) and the new details registered are given.

If the change concerns the registered office (establishment, branch) of the company, the members (owners) of the company, the managers, the members of the supervisory board or the auditor, or if the company has only one remaining holder of the company registration and the joint registration method is changed to a separate registration, the registration is retroactive to the date of the change, so the notice also indicates the date of the change.

In the case of a joint venture and a merger, the date of accession of the joining member, and any limitation of its liability, will appear as a change under 1(08) or 1(07).

In the case of winding-up and liquidation, the Official Journal of Companies publishes the corresponding information without indicating the heading numbers.

The gazetteer publishes the date and method of dissolution of the company under a separate heading "Dissolutions".

At the end of the volume, there is a consolidated index of all the companies appearing in the judicial notices, listed by name. The index includes the registration number of each company and a page with the details of the company named.
